Dr. Little has over 20 years of experience in community health, Maternal and Child Health, HIV/AIDS and STD prevention, capacity building, program evaluation, and non-profit management. Currently, she is the Vice President for Women’s and Infants’ Services and Community and Population Health at the University of Maryland’s Prince George’s Hospital Center. Dr. Little has served as a senior leader within nonprofits, community-based and global organizations for over 15 years.
Much of her professional expertise focuses on adolescent, reproductive, infant, child, and women’s health, STD/HIV prevention, and human development. Her professional expertise is in non-profit management, health policy analysis, business development, federal contract, and grant management (USAID, CDC, and HRSA), monitoring and evaluation (M&E), curricula development (Instructional Design), training facilitation, science and evidence-based practice and interventions, and the provision of organizational, programmatic and content specific technical assistance and a capacity building.
Dr. Little has a Ph.D. in Social Work with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health and a Master’s of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s of Social Work from Howard University, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work and Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
